INTERPRESS TRANSFERS

In the field of single tool presses the interpress transfer solution is undoubtedly the most effective in terms of productivity, due to the limited masses in motion. Another benefit of this kind of automation is the parking position of the grippers, always outside the working area. This is a great advantage as regards free space on the press bolster and replacement convenience of the grippers. SAPI was the first european company to introduce interpress transfer robots, of which we currently produce 3 types, suitable for operation on presses with 2000 to 6000 mm centre distance. The extraordinary flexibility of this product allowed us to realise state of the art presslines that can operate in both directions and with variable configuration.
